Offline Repetitions

First of all, let me thank you guys who work here for making sure Supermemo.Net worked over the iPhone's browser, both before and after the site overhaul last year.  I've followed the progress of your custom iPhone SuperMemo app, and am excited about eventually being able to switch over to it.  I know that you've said you're working on having the app sync with the SuperMemo.net website, and I eagerly look forward to that update.

A feature to propose (which you may already be working on) is the ability to download a day (or more) of Repetitions, and then to work through them offline at my convenience.  My iPhone is no longer always online, and anyone with an iPod Touch or the coming 3G-less iPad will also not have access to a constant connection.

From what I see from the program today, I think you are already planning on implementing this feature at a future date.  I just wanted to mention it early on as something that would be very useful to myself and anyone else lacking a constant connection.

Thanks for your work, I look forward to what's coming next.

Just got it last night, did my first offline repetitions ever.  Wow!  There's a few bugs, but overall everything works and works well.  Excellent job on the user interface:  very clean and smooth to navigate around, all very intuitive.  Jumping from learning a repetition to editing it and then back again is actually quicker to do than on the website.

Really great job.  For a first-release implementation of such a complex procedure, this is a wild success.  Thanks to whoever worked on this.

Guys, can we dismiss the questions(like the desktop version), in the iphone version.

I am in a situation where i have a lot of items. Some of them are redundent(not well formulated questions).

      What should i do?

Is there an option for dismissing these items or should i simply delete it?

        Hi,

Option of disabling items from learning is not available on the iPhone. As you have written, to get rid of redundant items, simply delete it.

        Best regards,

How can I simply delete redundant items? Thanks

You have to click the item with the right mouse button and then choose "Dismiss".

@nowy1229 This is forum dedicated to SuperMemo for iPhone, where there is no possiblity to perform right-click with the use of mouse ;)

@xngnln To delete redundant items from your own course, go to 'Edit own courses' menu, find the item(s) and use red circle to delete them. Of course this option is only available for your own courses - you can not delete items from courses downloaded from Course Catalogue.
