Market for non-free user courses

Hi all,

It seems surprising that users cannot (unless I am missing something) create courses that must be purchased -- is this a feature that the developers have considered, and has this not been implemented intentionally, or perhaps instead because of technical challenges?

It would seem like a win-win situation if users could create courses, set a price, and then profits from the course sales would be split between Supermemo.net and the course creator, analogous to how iPhone App profits are split between Apple and the app developer. It would probably encourage more and more high quality courses, which would attract more people to the Supermemo platform in general.

Best,

Zach

I agree it would be a great feature to allow users to come up with their own courses. It would create a great incentive for more high quality courses and would most likely broaden the range of what is offered well beyond languages, although I think the language courses are very useful.

Here's a thread on the topic, in case you haven't come across it: http://www.supermemo.net/topic/583
