1) SuperMemo is amazing!

2) The implementation needs a lot of work: esp in user interface. THIS THREAD is the first description of how to synch courses that new users will see!!!!??? If I wasn't already 110% sold on supermemo, I would have given up on this supermemo.net by now.

3) I really don't mean this as a complaint, it just really makes me sad to see a software with this potential not fully packaged in a way that dignifies the truly amazing concept you guys have!!!

    Hi all,

    I am a new user to Supermemo.net. I have created my own courses (4 in total) on the iphone and have signed up to Supermemo.net to synchronise (back up) my courses.

    I have successfully backed up three of them. However the main course I wanted to back up cannot be added to the online database. Whenever I select this course (containing 110 learning elements all Question Answer setup)., upon starting the synchronising process I get the initial dialog box informing my that it is synchronising User Courses and downloading exercise content, it immediatly then displays the information dialog box informing me that the course has not been synchronised successfully!!

    I have tried changing my password and rebooting the iphone but still it does not synchronise. Any helps or tips would be appreciated as a lot of work has gone into this particular course.

      Hai I am new to synchronization process. I use Supermemo Ux and have my own courses there. I tried to synchronize it with supermemo.net. I am unable to get the multimedia voice play along with the synchronized data. Is it typical that we do not get the voice recordings while sychronizing or is it a bug in the process?

        In SuperMemo for iPhone you can not have recordings in your own courses - synchronizing the courses with such media will result only in synchronizing the text, not the audio data.

        If it comes to SuperMemo UX, you will be responded by other person. In the future, if the question concerns SuperMemo UX, please post it on the forum dedicated to SuperMemo UX :)

          Synchronization in general don't include media synchronization, so SuperMemo UX also don't support media synchronization.
