I just realized that linking directly to:

http://www.supermemo.net/pages/learn/learn.smnet

...will load Supermemo.Net directly into the study questions, bypassing the opening page.  That knocks out a third of the time it takes to load and get started on a slow connection.  Otherwise I had always meant to suggest a profile option to permit this.
