Would it be possible to have a community feature that would allow users to send a "blind message" to all users of a certain characteristic on their public profile? For example, if I wanted help from someone who speaks spanish then I could put that as the characteristic and I would write a request that would be sent to all the users who have "spanish" or "español" under the language category on their public profile.

It is definitely an interesting option to add to our community features. Until it's done I can think of other options availalbe now, like leaving notes on our message board (see the "Messages" tab) or sending messages directly to users who are active on the Spanish section of the Forum.
